ONE HEALTH DAY –For the second time in Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Institute for Health and Food Safety Zenica (INZ) is organizing the celebration of “One Health Day”,

at the Zenica Hotel,

on Monday, November 4, 2019. at 10:00 CET.

The expert meeting is intended for all interested parties, employees of state, entity, cantonal and city / municipal institutions, representatives of public institutions, researchers, the private sector and others, and includes experts of different profiles, such as: physicians, veterinarians, ecologists, biologists, microbiologists, agronomists, sanitary engineers, chemical engineers, food technologists, nutritionists and all other experts who believe that their actions can contribute to the protection of human, animal and environmental health.

The aim of the expert meeting is to familiarize participants, but also the general public in BiH, with the One Health Initiative, to explain the principles and importance of multisectoral cooperation in daily work, and to promote the integration of human, animal and environmental health.

For the second time, the Institute for Health and Food Safety of Zenica will organize a celebration of “One Health Day” in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). For this purpose, it is planned to hold a expert meeting on the topic: “ONE HEALTH IN BIH”, and the meeting will be held at the Hotel Zenica, Zenica, 04.11.2019. starting at 10:00 CET. The meeting is intended for all stakeholders, government officials, public officials, researchers, the private sector and others, as experts in various fields (doctors, veterinarians, environmental experts and others). The aim of the workshop is to familiarize participants and the general public in BiH with the One Health Initiative to explain the principles and importance of multisectoral collaboration in daily work, as well as to promote an integrative approach to human, animal, plant and environmental health.

During the expert meeting, more presentations are planned, both by INZ employees and distinguished guests.

This event highlights the importance of a multisectoral and collaborative approach by experts and experts from different sectors, such as public health, animal health, plant health and the environment, who should join forces to support the One Health approach.
